This song was an old ballad, collected and put to music by Nic Jones and
Dave Moran.

Mandy was inspired to learn it after discovering Jolie Holland's version on a CD in HMV on Bourke Street in Melbourne in the early 2000's. The Connell arrangement was originally developed by herself, Frank Lees and Ian MacRae (Now in Mleb Pop Band, Tully On Tully).
